Jeanette has a custodial passion for the environment and education.
She has over 20 years of teaching experience, at all school levels.
Plus extensive experience in marketing, working with companies such as AGL, Telstra, GEC industrial products, ... Jeanette is president for Friends of Cardinia Creek Sanctuary, a volunteer group that has been running for over 20 years, in both Cardinia Shire and the City of Casey, restoring bushland with indigenous plantings, creating native animal and bird habitats.
Meredith is our go to person for all the technical terms in environmental issues, having a BA Environmental Sciences. Meredith worked as a Park Ranger at Emerald Lake Park,as Zoo Keeper at Bimbimbie Wildlife Centre, in various roles within the business world and currently is completing her Masters Education.
She has spent many years as a volunteer wildlife researcher in the field with Department of Environment Land Water & Planing on large scale Southern Ark project in eastern Victoria, her work covered many facets relating small animal research.
The students adore Jodie and native her animals.
At home, Jodie has over 40 native animals in her care.
For each presentation she surprises us introducing us to different members of her family.
She also is working at Healesville Sanctuary with the animal encounters, tour guide hosting, work in the animal hospital and in-the-land of parrots.
Jodie joined the KANGA team in 2019.
Previously, she was with RSPCA in the animal behavioural section, is a Qualified Vet nurse and animal obedience trainer. Jodie has had several years working in various venues as a native animal demonstrator.
